XCMG at Vertikal Days 2026 Highlights
XCMG UK returned to Vertikal Days 2026 with an extensive line-up of crane, access equipment and material handling machinery, bringing together solutions designed for customers across the UK and Ireland.
Held on 9–10 September 2026 at Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire, Vertikal Days brought the lifting and access industry together for two days of machinery displays, industry conversations and networking. The organisers describe the event as a key meeting place for lifting and access professionals, with more than 150 exhibitors and over 300 brands accessible to registered visitors.
For XCMG UK, the event provided an opportunity to showcase the growing breadth of our lifting and access portfolio – but one of the biggest moments of the show happened alongside our customer RRC Crane Hire, as we celebrated the purchase of the first XCMG XCA80G7-1E 80-tonne all-terrain crane in the UK and Ireland.
A Major Milestone for XCMG Cranes in the UK & Ireland
We were delighted to welcome RRC Crane Hire to the XCMG stand at Vertikal Days 2026 and mark an important milestone for our crane business in the UK and Ireland.
RRC Crane Hire purchased the XCMG XCA80G7-1E, becoming the first customer in the UK and Ireland to take delivery of this 80-tonne all-terrain crane.
The XCA80G7-1E combines an 80-tonne maximum lifting capacity with a 60-metre telescopic boom and a maximum lifting height of 75 metres. The four-axle crane is powered by an EU Stage V engine and uses an 8×6×8 drive and steering configuration.
Celebrating this milestone at Vertikal Days made the occasion particularly special. Events like Vertikal Days are not only an opportunity to introduce machinery; they also give us the chance to meet customers, understand their requirements and strengthen the relationships supporting XCMG’s continued development in the UK and Ireland.

An Extensive Line-Up XCMG at Vertikal Days 2026 Highlights
At Vertikal Days 2026, XCMG UK showcased a diverse selection of powered access and material handling equipment, giving visitors the opportunity to explore machines designed for different working heights, environments and applications.
A key attraction was the XCA60G6-1E 60-tonne all-terrain crane, which was displayed on the XCMG stand. Following the interest generated by our hybrid 60-tonne crane at the previous Vertikal Days, the XCA60G6-1E represented the latest diesel all-terrain crane solution from XCMG for the UK and Ireland market.

Our powered access display included the XGA16K and XGA20K articulated boom lifts, alongside the XGA20H hybrid articulated boom lift. The hybrid XGA20H demonstrated how alternative power solutions can be incorporated into access equipment while providing the reach and versatility required for demanding work-at-height applications.
For applications requiring greater horizontal outreach, the stand also featured the XGS44K telescopic boom lift, representing the larger end of XCMG’s powered access range.

Scissor lifts were also an important part of the display. Visitors could see the XG1823RT rough-terrain scissor lift and the XG1614AC scissor lift, demonstrating solutions for both demanding outdoor environments and applications where efficient vertical access is required.

The XCMG line-up extended beyond powered access equipment. The XT4014KH diesel telehandler was displayed alongside the XT2506E electric telehandler, giving visitors the opportunity to compare equipment designed for different lifting and material handling requirements.

Our material handling display also included the XCF35 forklift and XCB30 electric forklift, while the compact XGR08, XGR08J and XGR12J mast lifts demonstrated solutions for applications where manoeuvrability and access in restricted working areas are particularly important.

Together, the machines on display demonstrated the breadth of XCMG’s access and material handling equipment available to customers across the UK and Ireland, from compact mast and scissor lifts through to high-reach articulated and telescopic boom lifts and telehandlers.
Electric Equipment for Modern Fleets
Electrification was also an important part of the XCMG display at Vertikal Days 2026.
The XT2506E electric telehandler attracted attention alongside the XCB30 electric forklift, demonstrating how electric machinery is becoming increasingly relevant across access, material handling, warehousing, construction and rental applications.
Compact electric equipment can be particularly valuable where businesses are looking to reduce local exhaust emissions while maintaining the performance and versatility required for everyday operations.
By displaying electric machines alongside conventional powered equipment, XCMG UK was able to demonstrate the range of options now available to fleet owners, rental companies and contractors across the UK and Ireland.
Bringing XCMG Equipment Closer to UK Customers
Vertikal Days is focused specifically on the crane, powered access and lifting sectors, making it an important opportunity for customers to see equipment first-hand and speak directly with manufacturers and suppliers. The 2026 event was reported by the organisers as particularly busy, with record visitor numbers on the opening day.
For XCMG UK, exhibiting is about more than displaying machines. It gives our team the opportunity to speak directly with crane operators, access professionals, rental companies, fleet managers and contractors about the challenges they face and the equipment they need.
The range displayed at Vertikal Days 2026 reflected the expanding XCMG portfolio available to customers across the UK and Ireland, from compact mast lifts and electric material handling equipment through to large boom lifts and all-terrain cranes.
